Here are steps by steps instructions how to get started with Dealsign for your company.

1. Signup

You can sign up for Dealsign using your email address and a unique password:

If you got an email invitation, just click the invitation link and signup.

2. Workspace Subscription

To start using Dealsign for your company, you need to subscribe a workspace account for your company:

To enter your billing details and start your paying Dealsign workspace account, you can go to Workspaces > Order new workspace.

3. Invite Users and Manage Workspace Permissions

If you are having problems using Dealsign, check this troubleshooting first:

1. Browser: Is your browser working properly?

We recommend using the updated Chrome browser, Safari or Firefox.
Sometimes browsers don't synch with cloud properly, refresh and clear the browser cache: Windows: Press CTRL + F5 / CTRL+ shift + F5. Mac: Press command + shift + R.
Check your internet connectivity is working properly.
Turn off your VPN if you have VPN connection on.

2. Access rights: Do you have correct user access rights?

Verify you have logged in with correct username (email) and you have proper user rights to access the documents.
If you got email invitation to join Dealsign, make sure you use the same email in the registration.
Double check your browser's autofill functionality did not signup you with another email.
If necessary, you can change your email in the My Account settings page, or sign up with a correct email https://app.dealsign.ai/signup
In case you have more than one Dealsign username, ensure you have signed out the browser session before login with another username.

How to sign a document?

After you have been assigned to sign the document, you can sign the document.

Sign the document, go to Documents > You to sign > Select document > Sign document.
If you want, you can change the font and color or just go ahead with the default Dealsign digital signature.
Click "Sign this document".
Audit trail documentation marks your details to proof the digital signature.

How to import Word document as a template?

Prerequisites

Start by checking your current Word contract that you have different formatting in use at your document:

The document has a title (in body text, not in header) and it has a unique styling (eg. Heading 1)
Sections have a unique style (eg. Heading 2).
If your document has a nested structure, containing sections and subsections, make sure that all subsections have a unique style (eg. Heading 3).

By selecting a unique style for the title, sections and subsections, Dealsign will be able to automatically identify it as the desired title for the document.

Dealsign templates can have a two level structure:

Section 1 -- Subsection 1.1 -- Subsection 1.2
Section 2 -- Subsection 2.1

You can use your Word editor to make sure your document has the required formatting for import to the Dealsign tool. Also, check our example Word document that has the predefined formatting. After reviewing the document, you can start signing and invite others to sign the document.

Start signing by assigning signers, go to Documents > Waiting for signatures > Select document > Start signing process / Setup signers.
Select how many signers will sign the document (1-4 persons) and fill in the details (firstname, lastname, email, mobile).
Click "Begin signing".
